2019 Operating & Capital Budget Presentations
At Tuesday's meeting, Tiffany Clark, Acting Director of Finance, delivered two presentations: the 2019 Capital Budget and a second presentation on the 2019 Operating Budget. Council requested revisions to both budgets to be prepared for their next meeting, which will be held March 19, 2019.

Reinstatement of Paid Parking
After considering the Downtown BIA's request and reviewing Staff's report, Council passed a motion to reinstate paid parking along Queen Street and Valley Way at Tuesday's meeting.

50-Cent Bus Fares Promote Youth Ridership
This March Break, students can thank the Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) and Niagara Falls Transit for their 50-cent bus fares. Niagara Falls Transit and MYAC work together each year to promote ridership as a means to youth freedom, independence, and environmental stewardship. Council endorsed the 2019 initiative at Tuesday's meeting.
