Government of Canada invests in
Niagara Falls Arts and Culture!
MP Badawey and MP Bittle visited the future space of the Niagara Falls Creative Hub and announced funding of up to $3,000,000 for the Corporation of the City of Niagara Falls. This funding will support the creation of a new multi-use creative hub designed to bring together professional artists, artisans, and arts and heritage organizations from a variety of creative disciplines. The creative hub will include one of the only mid-sized professional performance spaces in the city, which will be available to professional and non-professional arts and heritage organizations and individuals at an affordable rate.
The Canadian Authors Association, Niagara Branch is an association of writers helping other writers in the art of composing and getting published their literary work. They provide monthly programs between September and June and have an annual short story contest for fiction writers with the top 15 winners published in an anthology. Cash prize for First, Second and Third Place winners. Closes Sept. 30

A temporary installation of Street Art ran throughout Niagara Falls that resonated with the history of the city buildings or locales.
There were 81 artist submissions for 11 locations throughout a cross-section of the Falls. The art installation ran August 8 to September 6, 2019. Printed on photocopy paper, it is the nature of wheat pasted art to be ephemeral. Read the Artist's statements andSEE ALL THE ARTWORK HERE.
