How is everyone doing today? I hope everyone is staying safe during this most difficult time. It is important though that we all keep moving and grooving. It's very tempting to sit around and binge on Netflix, or your DVD box set, but we all know the benefits from exercising, especially the mental health benefits which has never been so important. When we exercise we release endorphins known as (the “feel good” hormone), which act as a stress reliever and leaves you feeling happy and satisfied. (we could all use some of that right now) In addition, exercise has been linked to improving sleep, which is especially important for older adults who often suffer from insomnia and disrupted sleep patterns.
I thought I would share with you a few links to this awesome fitness instructor I have come across by the name of Pahla B. Pahla makes workouts for women over 50. She is a health coach, fitness trainer, Functional Fitness Specialist and Boston Marathon-qualifying runner and I just love her videos.
