An experienced Canada Revenue Agency Liaison Officer will facilitate the seminar. The Liaison Officer Service is a program developed by the Canada Revenue Agency that is designed to assist small businesses and self-employed individuals understand the Ins and Outs of the tax system. The goal is to help local businesses navigate the tax system and provides an opportunity for local businesses to interact directly with CRA. Topics discussed will include:

  • Business tax deductions
  • Common tax mistakes and how to avoid them,
  • Books and record keeping tips and tricks,
  • General bookkeeping concepts, best practices and how to use benchmarking to your advantage and
