The Lundy's Lane Historical Society aims to stimulate, and preserve interest in the History of The Battle of Lundy's Lane, the city of Niagara Falls, and the Niagara Region, through historical talks, field trips, commemorative ceremonies, and plaques.

Pianos for all to enjoy!!! Sit down and play! Located in gazebos, public parks, a dog park, outside stores and markets, 14 pianos will available for any member of the public to play and enjoy. The pianos will be personalized and decorated by 14 adjudicated artists from Niagara who will receive an honorarium to paint each piano. By creating a place of exchange, PlayPlayPlay!!!NiagaraFalls invites the public- both locals and tourists- to engage with, activate and take ownership of their urban environment and to have fun sharing while their talents.

CARMEL FINE ART & MUSIC FESTIVAL!
The 3 day Carmel Fine Art and Music Festival 
Friday September 15 to Sunday September 17
at Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls.

The festival showcases a truly unique set of skills in a variety of mediums, seldom seen works and the latest in innovative techniques. Get a taste of Niagara's home grown musical talent, let your kids enjoy the Children's Creative Art Zone, add to the community art mural installation and more!

The three day Carmel Fine Art and Music Festival kicks off with an Artists VIP Gala on Friday September 14th, 2018 at 6pm.  Ticket price is $15. General Admission is from 7pm to 11pm.   It provides the public the first viewing of the festival’s talent. You will be able to mingle with the artists while enjoying wine & hors-d’oeuvres.

The festival rolls out Saturday September 15th, 2018 at 9am to 11pm and Sunday September 16th,  2018 at 9am to 6:30 pm, with indoor and outdoor exhibitions of fine art in a variety of mediums and styles.  Admission is $5.  Seniors 60+ and Kids under 12 are free.  The festival will proceed rain or shine.

Located at Firemen’s Park at 2275 Dorchester Road in Niagara Falls, a gem located in the north end of  Niagara Falls.  Plenty of parking, easy to access from the QEW.

Come join us as we celebrate local musicians, artists, and the vibrant culture of Niagara! The Niagara Falls Night of Art is a free, family-friendly event that will include art installations, art exhibitions, live music, and hands-on interactive crafts and activities for all ages. With many local artists ranging in talents from music, photography, poetry and literature, to visual and avant-garde art, there is certainly something for everyone! Food from local restaurants and onsite vendors will be available for purchase so be sure to come hungry! Come on out and enjoy the fun!   

Our friends at Regal Diner will also be open, so check them out too.  Great food and performances throughout the night.

The Victoria and Chippawa libraries are pleased to offer feature-length movies for everyone to enjoy. Popular movies are shown on Tuesday evenings in the LaMarsh Room at the Victoria Avenue Library, and in the Meeting Room at the Chippawa Library on Wednesday evenings.
Screenings begin at 6:00 p.m. at Victoria on Tuesdays, and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays at Chippawa.
No registration, it's absolutely FREE, bring your own popcorn and a comfy cushion if you like!

The Library gratefully acknowledges the work of City Historian Sherman Zavitz. Many of the descriptions of these photos were adapted from his Niagara Falls Review column, "Niagara - Then and Now".

The Niagara Men’s Chorus is always looking to recruit new members and guests are always welcome at our Monday evening rehearsals at Stamford Presbyterian Church, 3121 St. Paul Street, Niagara Falls.
NMC's New director starting our 2017-18 season is Victoria Rondinelli.
No formal auditions are necessary but evaluation of the part your voice falls in ie. Bass, Baritone, Second Tenor or First Tenor is required.
Rehearsals are always fun and interesting as we learn new music or polish older pieces for performance.  CONTACT

CALLING ALL MUSICIANS! WE NEED YOU!!
If you play drums, percussion, bass guitar, clarinet, flute, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, baritone, euphonium, tuba, french horn, trombone or trumpet!
The Niagara Falls Concert Band is a volunteer community band that performs a large repertoire of music from many different styles. We perform at civic events for the City of Niagara Falls as well as festivals, local are band shells and seniors homes.
We rehearse Monday Nights from 7:30-9:30pm.

LARGE ARTWORK SCANNING
Artists can have their large artwork scanned at the Victoria Avenue Library.The artists will get a high resolution digital image of their artwork. The scanned image will also appear in the Historic Niagara Digital Collections Art Database.
