Join us on the third Wednesday of month for our Monthly Book Club, facilitated by librarian Gale Last of the Niagara Falls Public Library.

This month we're reading:
The Glass Castle, by Jeannette Walls

"Four siblings must learn to take care of themselves as their responsibility-averse, free-spirit parents both inspire and inhibit them. When sober, the children's brilliant and charismatic father captured their imagination, teaching them physics, geology, and how to embrace life fearlessly. But when he drank, he was dishonest and destructive. Meanwhile, their mother abhorred the idea of domesticity and didn't want to take on the work of raising a family."
Pick up your copy today at the front desk and join us!
Wednesday, March 13th at 2 p.m.
$1 drop-in fee
Shown to improve overall health when practiced regularly, chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. It is beneficial for people with limited mobility and for those who find it difficult getting down and up from the floor.

Congratulations to our very own janitor, Christine Jackson!

Christine has done a remarkable job keeping the building clean during this winter season. She has offered on several occasions to come in a hour early on her morning shift to make sure the floors are clean, sidewalks are cleared of snow, and the building is ready to open at 8:30 am for our members.

We gave a shout out to City Hall and on Monday, February 25th we were joined by Ken Todd, Chief Administrative Officer, Trent Dark, Manager of Human Resources, and Dale Morton, Manager of Strategic & Corporate Initiatives to thank Christine for all her efforts.

Way to go Christine!
