Be a Part of our Community Art Project - Memoryal

Join video artist Dougie Hayz as he explores and documents the wide range of emotions expressed by humans.  Dougie’s objective is to: “find others who still believe in the emotional healing power drawn from the tangible. This quest involves documenting testimonials of those who might remember a loved one through a type of flower and not through a bouquet of .JPGs. All of this will be captured in a digital format but expressed in a very mixed media friendly and most definitely Dougie Hayz style.”  Come to the museum and share you memories with Dougie.

Tour the Battlefield and visit the Battle Ground Hotel Museum
Battle Ground Hotel Museum is a wonderful interpreted 1850s tavern that explores early tourism life in our community.  The Museum is located on the historic battlefield of Lundy’s Lane. Tours by costumed interpreters take you through life in the tavern and the impact of the Battle of Lundy’s Lane.  It is open Friday – Sunday from 11am to 5pm until August 26th and located at 6151 Lundy’s Lane.  We also provide tours of the battlefield on these days at 2pm.
