Fall Community Clean Sweep 2019
NIAGARA FALLS, ON - On October 5, The Park in the City Committee will be hosting their annual Fall Community Clean Sweep Day event starting at 10:00 am at Oakes Park, located at 5700 Morrison Street. Volunteers will take part in collecting litter from various City boulevards, parks, trails and walkways in an effort to make our City a cleaner place. The event concludes at 12:00 pm.
Residents are encouraged to participate. Those interested can register for the event online at www.niagarafalls.ca/cleansweep. Participants will be provided with safety gear and cleaning supplies. This is a great opportunity for businesses to conduct team building activities and for students to acquire their Community Service Hours.
The event is made possible through the Park in the City Committee. The event will proceed rain or shine.
