Wellbeing at ACM

At ACM we take mental health and wellbeing extremely seriously. Working in the music industry can be stressful at times and we want to ensure that you're best supported now, so you're prepared for when you leave and join the music industry.

What to do if you have a problem at ACM:

Press the HELP button

If you ever feel like you need support you can press the ‘HELP’ button that can be accessed via your myACM account.

This can be used for both personal and academic reasons.

You will be required to fill in a short form so that we can offer you the help that you need as quickly as possible.

Go to a lunchtime drop-in session

If you are unsure about whether you need help or what type of help you need, don’t hesitate to attend a drop in session with Jo Mackinnon.

These sessions are held in room 15 within the Rodboro Buildings between 1-2pm Monday to Friday every week.

If you need help outside of these hours, speak to Sue in reception who will be able to assist you.

Between the hours of 10am 6pm Monday to Friday you can call the Wellbeing Line on 07590354418 / 01483 500 842.

Wellbeing Masterclasses

All of our wellbeing masterclasses provide practical and psychological tools that you can use to invest in your own mental and physical health.

To book a masterclass, go to 'Extras' on myACM

Finance Tutorials

Got questions about student finance or budgeting? We are currently offering credit-free tutorials in the SU every day with Laura Key.

Booking these slots will not come out of your tutorial allowance. These sessions are also bookable via the ‘HELP ’ button in your myACM account.

Tutorial Credits

You can request extra tutorial credits via the Help button form too 
(max 12 per term).

Diploma students!

Thinking about moving on to a Degree?
You will need to audition in the week commencing 12th December in order to move on to the degree in 2017.
