Training Opportunity Through Alliance for Justice!

Many organizations around the table have some experience with GOTV, canvassing, etc. but clarity with regard to the parameters surrounding the work is uneven and this may impede our ability to maximize the opportunity for collaboration, base building and reaching out to new or non-traditional allies. Coalition members need to understand the parameters and be able to explain the law to other organizations who may be reluctant to engage in this kind of work.

We have been fortunate enough to partner with Alliance for Justice to provide a training on Electoral Activities for Non-Profits!

This training will focus on what is allowable for 501(c)3’s and 501(c)4’s to engage in with regard to electoral activities. There will also be some basic tips on explaining these parameters to potential ally organizations.

Co-Sponsored by Building Healthy Communities: Long Beach. For more information on this training and the BHC effort in Long Beach please call: Rene Castro 562-436-4800 (
