Talk a WALK/BIKE along the Pacific Electric Greenbelt!
Join us to learn what makes a pedestrian paradise and how you can help make positive changes in your neighborhood. But mostly, it's a fun one-mile stroll. There will be free pedometers for all participants! Thanks to CIty Fabrick for putting together our walk!
We are also being joined by Cali Bike Tours and they will lead a bike ride through the route! So make sure to bring your sneakers or your wheels!
We'll be meeting at the corner of 20th and Orange, next to Roosevelt Elementary School at 3:45pm!*
BHC AmeriCorps MLK Day Poetry/Art/Essay Contest!
Arrive early to view submissions to the MLK Day Poetry/Art/Essay Contest! This contest was coordinated by our BHC AmeriCorps team. All finalists will be displayed, and you will have the chance to vote for the 1st place winners in each category! All finalists and winners will also be recognized during the hub meeting!
We have an extra special prize for one lucky participant that night! We will be giving away a brand new beach cruiser!
