Dear Racial Justice Tipping Point Supporter,

You have likely seen footage that has been circulating across the globe of police blasting water protectors with water cannons in below freezing weather (see photo below), shooting protectors with rubber bullets, covering them with tear gas, and in one case, hitting a young woman's arm with a percussion grenade, leaving her with the possibility of amputation.

While some police and sheriffs have turned in their badges because they will not carry out these acts,  there are still some who are out there.  Dane County pulled back their support weeks ago. However, Marathon County Sheriff's Department, based in Wausau, WI, still have personnel deployed there.
Call today and tell them that as a Wisconsin resident you want them to end their support for this harassment of water protectors, and their support for the Dakota Access Pipeline:   (715) 261-1200
This week and weekend, we face a holiday that is rooted in an ongoing history of colonization and genocide of native peoples. Calling the Marathon County Sheriff's Office is a great action you can take to help end this legacy.
There will be a global day of action on Thursday December 1st and a week of action between now and then.  Please visit here to find other ways that you can take action.   This is the link to the main camp of resistance to protect the water.
