City Center Partnership unveiled its 40-page Destination Downtown report. The report outlines accomplishments and value City Center Business Improvement District (Main Street District) has provided owners of downtown properties since its establishment in late 2001. Business owners and executives, residents, community leaders, and photos of the Main Street District are featured. Topics include shopping, residential living, and more!

Girls Block 2020

Saturday, March 7
Starts at 4 pm

Girls Block 2020 is a Music & Arts Festival featuring 18 bands/musicians, numerous performing artists, 30+ vendors, and multiple visual artists located all throughout the 1600 block of Main Street.
Entrances to the festival are located next to Lula Drake Wine Parlour and Taylor Street Garage. Music venues include Pastor's Study at Lula Drake, The Nickelodeon, Hendrix, and a special street stage alongside the vendors and other artists.

The Indie Grits Film Festival Returns for its 14th Year

Who is City Center Partnership and the BID?
In 2001, City Center Partnership was formed to manage the downtown Business Improvement District in the 36-block area bounded by Gervais, Elmwood, Assembly and Marion streets in Columbia, SC. The organization provides public space management, economic development, place management, marketing services, and public advocacy for the Main Street District.
The Board of Directors oversee the organization’s mission — to focus on filling vacancies in commercial properties, retaining existing downtown businesses and recruiting new ones, expanding the downtown residential base, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly downtown environment.
