Our Centennial Year

Celebrating a Century of Success

As we wrap up our Centennial Year, let us take a look back at what an exciting and eventful year it has been. We kicked off 2011 with a Centennial Celebration recognizing the 100th birthday of our college, and we were just getting started.

We made this year a monumental tribute to our century-long journey by honoring our rich history and celebrating our promising future. We opened our new Agriculture and Life Sciences complex, hosted some of the world’s most notable lecturers, and recognized our outstanding alumni, graduates, faculty and staff.  Additionally, we commissioned an original work of art by Aggie artist Benjamin Knox to commemorate the centennial. Prints are available here:

As we look back at what a successful year we have had, let us also look forward to our next 100 years as we continue our mission of feeding our world, enriching our youth, improving our health, and protecting our environment.

I'm proud to have been a part of this year's celebration, and even more proud that I'll be a part of the many accomplishments we’ll achieve in the years to come. Good luck to all those who will be taking finals in the coming weeks and have a safe and happy holiday!
