This weekend 193 world leaders will commit to 17 Global Goals to achieve three extraordinary things over the next 15 years: end extreme poverty, fight inequality and fix climate change - in all countries, for all people.
Responsible Consumption and Production will require both consumers and businesses transitioning towards a global flow of goods and services that does not wreck our planet, while ensuring that every man, woman and child can consume enough to live a decent life with dignity. We have seen, through our work with One Planet Communities across the world, that this can be achieved.
To celebrate the Global Goals, we have made a short video featuring our Chief Executive, Sue Riddlestone and Development & Policy Manager, Emily Auckland. They explain more about the goals and how Bioregional contributed to the process over the last six years, as well as detailing how you can help spread the word.
Sue Riddlestone says: "We can make a difference. So get involved and tell everyone about the Global Goals for Sustainable Development!"
Bioregional celebrates the Sustainable Development Goals - and invites you to join in!
