Cloth of Egypt - Kickstarter Success!

Our goals for Kickstarter were reached in 42 minutes, and were exceeded by leaps and bounds in the following month!  I'm pleased to announce that we closed our campaign with a whopping $7060.00 pledged by 136 backers.  THANK YOU!  We have taken this influx and made improvements to the quality of our computer and software, to purchase equipment and supplies, and to invest in assiut to demonstrate a few more techniques.  We've just sent an update via the Kickstarter system, but even if you didn't participate, you can check out this update and see some of the amazing photos made possible by the generosity of my friends, family and fans.  Read More

Crave a class with a fantastic instructor?
25% off for Costumer's Notes Readers - Begins Sept. 15

As many of you know, I'm not teaching dance these days, but I still crave classes!  One of the rising stars of the belly dance workshop circuit is the lovely Rosa Noreen from Maine.  I met up with her in Las Vegas at the Belly Dance intensive, and she's agreed to share a discount with me, and expanded it to include all of my newsletter readers too!  She is warm, articulate and really good at describing her concepts and giving her workshop attendees solid instruction.  In this day of global connection, you don't have to get to Maine to take a workshop!  On Sept. 15, she will begin her next Online Intensive.  Learn in the comfort of your own home from a master at the craft!

From Noreen: Deepen your expression, learn to be present in the moment, and take control of the stage with Rosa Noreen's Delicious Pauses Online Intensive. Sign up by September 15 using code DAVINASPAUSE4U and get 25% off!  This innovative 8-week online course consists of email assignments, downloadable video demonstrations, music recommendations and conference calls, plus optional upgrades for personal attention.
