One of Birmingham’s most historic hot-spots is reopening...

Next week, January 14, one of Birmingham’s most historic theaters will reopen its doors after 45 years of vacancy. Are we excited? You bet we are!

And next Thursday, Friday and Saturday, local musicians as well as the Russian Ballet’s Romeo and Juliet will be the first acts to grace the restored Lyric stage.
The Lyric grand reopneing will be a catalyst to redevelopment in Birmingham’s historic Theatre District, paving the way for vacant spaces to be filled with new restaurants, bars, and retail stores (talk about revitalization!).

Congratulations to the many Birmingham partners, volunteers, and supporters who have sacrificed time, money and hard work to make this dream a reality!
Click here for more info on the Lyric and to purchase your tickets for opening night!

But there's more...

To commemorate this historic occasion, REV will activate the street-scape surrounding the Lyric Theater with pop-ups! (That's right, shopaholics.) January 14th-16th, THE POP UP PROJECTS will make yet another debut at the following locations. Check out the list of local businesses you can visit and their hours of operation below:
1806 3rd Ave N (next to the Alabama Theater) – 11AM-10PM
BirmingHub | Left Hand Soap Co. | Laced Up Boutique
1814 3rd Ave N (next to Superior Furniture) – 5PM-8PM
Copper Pot Kitchen | Murphy’s Pepper Jelly | Naughty but Nice Kettle Corn | The Birmingham Candy Co. | We Have Donuts
Remember â€œall the world’s a stage”, and come next week, Birmingham’s Theater District will become a first-class playhouse AND shopping destination in one. Get ready to celebrate!
