Graduation Pre-Test

May 2nd @ 10:30am (children) / May 1st starting @ 6pm (adults) are the dates of this years pre-tests for the annual "batizado" (capoeira graduation ceremony when students test for the next rank know as a "cordel" ).  

This pre-test is the necessary first part of the test required to advance to your next rank in Capoeira.  Students will be tested on all the requirements for their cordel.  This test is put in place to give students short-term goals and to help them prepare for their next cordel test at the end of September andthen the spectacular annual graduation ceremony on October 4th. 

Students will have a formal evaluation of their progress be able to better determine their strengths, and weaknesses, and receive the necessary guidance and help in ample time so they can feel fully prepared for their test later in the year.  The test fee is $25 due before the day of the test. (Please make sure to make payment before the test day as any payments received on the day of the test will be $30)

Just a Reminder on a Few Upcoming Events

Capoeira Demo @ Relay for Life!
When: Saturday, April 11th
Time: 5:15pm
Where: Chain of Lakes Middle School (8700 Conroy Windermere Rd) by the stage.

The kids demo team will be performing their capoeira routine, maculele, and more.  All students are encouraged to come and participate in the demo!  Please wear red shirt and white pants uniform.  Thank you!
