Digital Learning Activities for Grade 5 Science

OLE Nepal has completed the development of interactive digital learning activities designed to promote awareness in agriculture, food security and nutrition amongst school children. This set of thirty activities were developed with support from UN World Food Programme (WFP), and are correlated with the Grade 5 "Science, Health and Physical Education" subject prescribed by the national curriculum. Keeping in mind the worldwide demand for such learning activities, OLE Nepal developed the activities in both Nepali and English language versions. Read more

Progressive Education Skill Development Program

OLE Nepal has initiated a Progressive Education Skill Development Program for both government and private schools, and has prepared training packages to cater to the needs of the changing world. These packages cover topics ranging from progressive education child centered philosophy to bringing ICT integrated learning to the classrooms on subjects such as language arts, science, social studies, and mathematics as well as integrated grade teaching. In-school Training in Belbas, Tanahu

OLE Nepal's trainer, Tikaraj Karki, and technical support staff, Aman Maharjan visited OLE Nepal's program school, Shree Siddha Beni Ni. Ma. Vi., in Belbas of Tanahu district from August 23 to 25, 2011 to conduct in-school training, and update laptops and server at the school. Read more

E-Pustakalaya Update

On 2nd August, we had an advisory panel meeting to bring our advisers up to speed with the rapid development of E--Pustakalaya. One of their recommendations regarding the author page which should display all the available books with hyperlinks have been implemented. The major focus of the meeting was on how to bring to conclusion the Young Adult (YA) Literature workshop conducted earlier this year.
