Autumn is here!
One of our favourite seasons is sparkling at Fairwood Lakes, with misty mornings and vibrant colours surrounding the park. With half term next week, our team is busy bringing together some spooky fun for your family in the build up to Halloween. We also have our busy elves working hard behind the scenes to create a spectacular Christmas event this year – we cannot wait to share it with you!
Creepy Crafts in the Carriage
It’ll be frightfully good fun at Fairwood Lakes this half term with Creepy Crafts in the Carriage. Hop aboard the Fairwood Express from Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th October ready to make creepy creations to take home for Halloween.
During half term week, you’re welcome to dress in spook-tacular style on your visits to the park. From witches and cats to ghosties and bats, dress up if you dare for some Fairwood fun! We’ll be serving a selection of spooky snacks in the café too, including gingerbread skeletons and cobweb cookies.
Creepy Crafts in the Carriage is free as part of your annual membership and will run from 11am – 2pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in half term week in timed sessions. No need to pre-book, just turn up!
Christmas Trail and Grotto Experience Tickets
Father Christmas cannot wait to return to Fairwood Lakes this year. He’s booked his accommodation by the lake ready to spend some precious time greeting you and your family in his Grotto – our enchanting winter woodland barn.
Start your adventures through the twinkly trees along our illuminated trail and get ready for plenty of festive fun sprinkled with seasonal surprises along the way. Highlights include Christmas characters to meet, our new Polar Bear’s Fishing Pool with a hook-a-duck style game, story-time in the Elves Village with hot chocolate for children, Dancer’s Disco Den, and of course the truly magical grotto in all its seasonal splendour.
Food and drinks will be available to buy from our pop-up Village Green and inside the main café, and the Fairwood Express will be open to help you stay extra snug.
Family tickets start at £39 (1 child, 5 adults) and £49 (2 children, 4 adults). Tickets are selling fast, but there is still availability. To book online, visit our Christmas Trail and Grotto page for further details.
Term-time Children's Meals
With the return to school after half term, don’t forget to make the most of your membership discount on every child’s meal, Monday to Friday after 3pm. All children’s meals are normally £5, or £6.95 to include an ice cream scoop dessert, and annual members can enjoy 25% off every child's meal. For menu details, visit our café page.
