World Water Week season is finally here! On Friday we open up submissions for the Sofa and Exhibition, while Field Visits and Showcases close on Sunday. Responding to the “new normal” – a call to the water innovators

Each year, around a thousand business leaders and experts identify the most significant risks facing the planet over the coming decade. In the 2019 edition of the World Economic Forum’s Risks Report, “water crisis” is the fourth most impactful risk and the ninth likeliest. In this context, we are searching far and wide to uncover the best solutions, ideas, and collaborations to become part of the World Water Week showcase programme in 2019. The window into World Water Week is the Sofa, a cross between a speakers’ corner and an interview studio. Broadcasted live beyond the walls of the Week, experts, decision-makers and leaders will be interviewed on a variety of water-related issues.

Junior rapporteurs - opens 15 March
SIWI is looking for a team of junior rapporteurs (between the age of 18 to 35) to help to report on the cross-cutting trends, knowledge and innovations discussed in sessions at World Water Week. More information and apply here >>
