More than 40 educators gathered for the Environmental Inquiry Institute at the Groundswell Community Greenhouse on October 23-24.

Wow - what a month! From Wildsight's Know Your Watershed Institute to the Earth Matters National Conference and on to the Inquiry Learning Institute, it has been a whirlwind of learning, sharing & connecting. If you missed out (or you can't get enough!) we would like to invite you to attend our upcoming Project WET Workshop which will take place on Saturday, November 7 in Rossland. This is a great chance to receive water education training using the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide in the context of the new BC Education Plan. Participants will receive a copy of the Project WET Activity Guide and will have the opportunity to try a variety of activities at the workshop. Click here for more information and to register.

On November 7th we will recognize  5 amazing environmental educators / organizations with CBEEN's 2015 Environmental Education Awards of Excellence. These will be awarded at our upcoming Celebration of Environmental Education at the Old Firehall in Rossland at 5:30pm on Saturday, November 7th following our Project WET Workshop. CBEEN members and Project WET participants can request up to 2 complimentary tickets to this event which includes an EE Expo, EE vignettes, complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.
