Hurricane Matthew Relief - LAA/LUS
As Hurricane Matthew continues to affect the east coast, we would like to remind members to remain vigilant and take all necessary precautions to remain safe and out of harm’s way.
If you experience a hardship or have a need for immediate relief as a result of the storm, the Wings Foundation offers National Disaster Relief to American Airlines Flight Attendants. Please don’t hesitate to consider the possibility of immediate short term assistance.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is also available for anyone who needs support. You can contact John McCloskey at 562-233-2307.
LUS Contact Number for AA Uniform Call Center - LUS
Please note that yesterday's Hotline addressing the Company's announcement of a call center for reporting reactions to the new uniform failed to include the proper contact number for LUS Flight Attendants.
LUS Flight Attendants who experience reactions to the new uniform can contact the call center at 1-800-327-0117 (select 2,5,6,1 and then option 2)
Telephone Lines Down Again at APFA Headquarters - LAA/LUS
Once again, we regret to report that the phone lines are down at APFA HDQ. Technicians have been notified. We suspect that heavy rains have flooded the construction area next door where the cable was repaired on Monday. Live Chat will be available until service is restored.
APFA is a strong and independent Union comprised of 25,000 hard-working Flight Attendants of American Airlines. Like any organization, opinions and interests are varied. What makes APFA unique, though, is its highly democratic process which allows members to make their voices heard through the direct election of their Union representatives and voting power on all Constitutional changes. APFA is proud of its membership’s diversity, passion, and advocacy.
