Here's what we've been up to this month!

September 2015

Each August, we view our furlough as a time to reconnect with our families and supporters in the States and that is exactly what we enjoyed about our month of August. We got to visit with so many wonderful people (you!) as well as see our families in both Seattle and Green Bay. But we felt so blessed when we landed in Seoul and turned our phones back on. It was clear that our absence was felt by those we are in a relationship with here and September has been a month full of reconnecting.
This month, in particular, we have felt some big strides in the ways God is working through us and in our lives with so many wonderful people. We have seen them over coffee, lunch, together at the zoo, picnicing, at church, and in our classes and have heard about their struggles, thoughts, funny moments, and celebrations. We are so blessed to serve these people and are even more blessed with the God who serves as our Savior. Above are two pictures with Lydia because, unsurprisingly, people prefer to take more pictures with her than us.

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everyone together in perfect harmony.
Colossians 3:12-14
