C3 Awards

April C3 Athlete Winner and Athlete Nominee

Congratulations go out to SSCV's April C3 SSCV Athlete Award winner Cameron Wolfe.  Read on to learn more about Cameron's outstanding display of Character, Courage and Commitment (the 3C's).

SSCV would also like to recognize Nash Lucas for the honor of being nominated for the April C3 SSCV Athlete Award.

Cameron Wolfe is Ski & Snowboard Club Vail’s April C3 Athlete Award winner. Cameron emulates the character traits represented by this prestigious award both on snow and off-character, courage and commitment. During 2014-2015 Cameron had a good competitive season as a first year U16, finishing the season as the twelfth ranked U16 on the RMN points list, a respectable finish for a relatively new skier and a first year competitor in the under sixteen age group.

Going into the 2015-2016 season expectations were high, as Cameron had been showing tremendous improvement during summer and fall training. Cameron went on to exceed his SSCV Nordic coaches’ expectations, proving his courage, commitment, and character. Cameron finished this season ranked as the second U16 in Colorado, with two wins and never finishing out of the top four in the eight junior national qualifier races he competed in.
