Tune Shop Procedures and Reminders

As we are now fully into the ski training and race season at SSCV, it’s time to review a few key reminders regarding the Tune Shop and getting work completed through SSCV’s in-house tuning service.

Please note minimum turn-around time on all a la carte and punch card equipment service is 48 hours. This means the Tune Shop cannot accommodate overnight turn-around on edge, wax, or other services the night prior to a race if you are not participating in the 2 ski/week or Elite Tune programs.

B Net Breakfast Club With Aldo

Executive Director Aldo Radamus will be hosting a B net Breakfast Club on Friday mornings.  The Breakfast Club will spend the morning making adjustments to the Gold Peak B net.  This work is ongoing and critical for the safety of our athletes. By joining the Breakfast Club you will provide our Alpine Staff with additional time for athlete contact, make sure we enter each weekend with Gold Peak in prime condition and ensure the training arena is as well secured as possible.

The Breakfast Club will begin on 12/28 and run consecutive Fridays through March. We will load Chair 6 on the 7:30 am service load.  Plan for a total of 3 hours which will include breakfast provided by Aldo.

Volunteer points will be available for participation in the Breakfast Club.  Sign up through the volunteer section of the SSCV website (Click Here to login and view the volunteer opportunity).
