Our First Baptism
Last Sunday was a great day! We had our first baptism as a church. LaRod Brown a man who has been attending our church since we have started got baptized. He brought with Him 14 of his family members. It was a huge encouragement to us all. We had our normal service at the Community Recreation Center and then caravanned to a local hotel for the baptism. After the baptism we caravanned across the street to a local restaurant for a meal together. It was a great meal shared by 40 people. Praise the Lord for the continued growth in LaRod. Pray that we will see many baptisms in the future!
Visitors on Sunday
In addition to LaRod's family we had an Indian family visit our services for the first time on Sunday. Their daughter attends an Indian dance class in another part of our meeting location that ends right before our service. They decided to visit with us on Sunday. They are not believers and were not ready to leave contact information but said they would be back next week. Please pray that this will be the case.
Building Search Update
Please pray for wisdom with regards to a building. There are a lot of factors that go into our search. I am visiting some facilities with our realtor tomorrow. Pray that we will have wisdom.
Trip to Florida
On Saturday, I will be leaving for Florida. I have been invited to be a co-teacher with the President of our Mission (BCP) at the state association meetings of the Sunshine Fellowship. I will be helping to teach three workshops on church planting. I will also have the opportunity to visit one of our supporting churches - Tri-County Baptist Church. Pray that I will have safe travels and a God-honoring ministry. Pray that Florida will see a surge of church planting activity.
Partners in Ministry

As we make plans towards our public launch we are constantly reminded of how great it would be to have a team of committed, on-site, full-time co-laborers. Pray for recent contacts at Bible Colleges and other people we are in contact with; these possible recruits would be a tremendous blessing.
