Reflection on the Easter

As Lenten Season comes to an end and we think about the Resurrection of  Jesus Christ it is a good time to think about the resurrection of our faith and our commitment to our faith. It is important for us to remember that Easter is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion. During this time we are able to think about renewing our faith with God and with one another.
There are a variety of ways in which one can renew one's faith and commitment to God. Sometimes there are things that happen through our lives that stray us from the light and make us question our beliefs and our faith. It is difficult to keep faith even in the face of adversity. It is part of being human and sometimes we need to go through that to feel a genuine commitment and proximity. However, it is important to consider this time as the most opportune to renew our faith and spirits in the name of God.

Defying Reason with Miracles
A Look at Miracles in the Gospel of John

As we celebrate Jesus' work and enter a time of preparation during our Lenten journey, we take a look at the defining moments for his ministry and the work of God through his Son to establish his presence and rule, preparing the way for His walk to the cross. And we not only mourn the life of Jesus but also celebrate his life and the miracles that were signs that God's mission was love, true sacrificial love, for all people and all nations.
