Takeaway 1: Record funding, most deals in 3 quarters
Overall, Q2'20 saw a strong rebound in healthcare funding globally, with record funding of $18.1B invested across 1,272 deals. The rebound was largely driven by upticks in Asia and Europe, likely due to their head starts in Covid-19 reopening efforts. North America funding remained flat QoQ but still showed a 22% YoY growth.
