Requests for Technology
Every week, hundreds of CB Insights customers source technology vendors on our platform.
Here are a few recent RFTs we’ve received:
RFT #1 — An Asian financial services company is looking for European rewards/loyalty partners to help with the launch of its payment solution.
RFT #2 — A Fortune 500 insurance company is looking to meet with technology vendors that can assist with both talent acquisition and learning & development for its internal teams.
RFT # 3 — A global consultancy is looking to partner with companies to help product teams embed inclusion and diversity throughout the entire product development process.
If you’re building technology that can assist with any of this, submit an Analyst Briefing here.
RFS: Glassdoor for B2B advisors (continued)
The service would let tech companies evaluate and see ratings of advisors/service providers across very specific areas of expertise and work. This expertise-level understanding is important because, for example, a lawyer might be great at fundraising docs but terrible for employment law.
It would also verify that you were a real customer, confirm what you used them for specifically, and then provide detailed reviews of your experience with the advisor (not generic 5-star paid reviews).
Monetization likely happens by charging the advisor side for upgraded profiles, increased visibility, etc.
BTW, this isn't a technically difficult business. It's perfect for a hustler/grinder type, as it can bring in quick cash flow. Then, if you’d like, you can raise investor money on your terms. You can keep expanding the geos and advisor categories you cover (e.g., ad agencies, exec recruiters, web development shops, etc.), so there’s a lot of room to grow.
