At a tasting held in Bordeaux, project participants got to compare the earth and space wines — which retail for $6,488 a bottle — before they head to a lab for further analysis.

Researcher Philippe Darriet said: “Unanimously, the two wines were considered to be great wines, which means that despite the 14-month stay on the ISS, the ‘space wine’ was very well evaluated sensorially.” Cheers.
