Capital Project Case Studies - Coming Soon!

Learning Series Logo

Over the past year, ArtsBuild Ontario has been traveling across the province to interview creative spaces on recent capital projects, and inform the development of a series of in-depth case studies.

The goal of these case studies is to provide specific details on each creative space project, enabling other organizations to better understand what resource and support they might need to execute projects and sustain their creative spaces.

Stay tuned as we begin to release the first round of case studies this summer!

In the meantime, you can revisit this year's Learning Series webinars that highlight some of the projects featured in the case studies on our Webpage HERE!

WorkInCulture's Making It Work Report

WIC recently released their latest research report, MakingItWork: Pathways toward sustainable cultural careers, which is an in-depth profile of Ontario’s culture sector labour market. The report was prepared by Nordicity and received support from the Government of Ontario. The report provides critical and much-needed insights about the almost 275,000 people who work in Ontario’s arts, cultural industries, heritage and library sectors.

“MakingItWork reveals a substantial need for support in the culture sector, both for organizations and individuals,” said Diane Davy, Executive Director of WorkInCulture. “To better understand our areas of growth and development, it is essential to identify and examine the elements necessary for a diverse and thriving culture sector in Ontario".
