|Hi! This month I have some news about an unexpected discovery and the world premiere of the Scythe game trailer.
Yesterday, as detailed in a Between Two Cities project update, I drove over to Greater Than Games, where we warehouse our products for distribution (Between Two Cities is currently shipping to backers 1 month early, and the new treasure chests are shipping to backers 3 months early).
While I was moving around some pallets, a pile of boxes off to the side caught my eye. Much to my surprise and delight, I realized they were 15 cartons of Tuscany Prima! For a while now I thought we were completely sold out of it. This was great news to discover on the same day that Tom Vasel listed Viticulture/Tuscany as his #17 game of all time!
Tuscany Prima is a full copy of Tuscany--which will soon go out of print--along with the 72 custom metal lira coins (which we're also sold out of in all locations except Meeplesource and Amazon.co.uk).
We're currently transferring these copies of Tuscany Prima to our fulfillment center at Funagain Games. If you're in the US and would like one of the final 95 copies of Tuscany Prima in existence, you can purchase it here today. If you don't live in the US and would like a copy, you can buy it at that link, but a $30 shipping fee will be charged separately since we have to ship it to you from the US.
The Viticulture Essential Edition is wrapping up production and will be in stores in December.
Scythe: On Kickstarter October 13
Scythe is currently wrapping up Automa (solitaire variant) playtesting while our graphic designer formats the rulebook and Jakub continues to work on the art. The Kickstarter page is complete, and we're ready to launch on the morning of October 13! I'll send out a quick message at 9:30 am CST when we launch so you can join us on Day 1 (though there are no early birds or limited reward levels, so if you can't be there right at 9:30, that's okay!)
Today I'd like to share with you the world premiere of the Scythe game trailer. You can find it on this page along with a detailed gameplay video and a Scrappy preview video.
My book, A Crowdfunder's Strategy Guide, is now available! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to review it on Amazon--that's a huge help.
