2nd Annual Kerrisdale Community Celebration

Friday, September 6

Outside Kerrisdale Arena (5670  E. Boulevard)

Join us for an afternoon of fun! We will have live music with The Land of Deborah, a climbing wall, henna painting, arts & crafts, carnival games, and much  more. If rain, the event will be moved to Kerrisdale Community Centre Auditorium.

The Land of Deborah is our special musical guest for the event. The Land of Deborah is an independent artist with a unique take on life, love and the pursuit of fair trade chocolate. Her songs are a cornucopia of feel good, infectious songs that are personal, eclectic and downright fun. If you like Sarah McLachlan, Aimee Mann or Sara Bareilles, you will love visiting The Land!

This event is sponsored by the Kerrisdale Community Centre Society

How does today’s way of life impact on the way we learn from each other?

“The KERRISDALE Playbook” created by the Kerrisdale Community Centre Society, is a place to embrace our diversity, interdependence, creativity, and the importance of learning from and with each other.  You will play a direct role in helping us infuse the Kerrisdale community with a spirit of FUN!  We hope to generate discussions on arts & culture, recreation, health and wellness, and other issues which may impact Kerrisdale’s being a vibrant and caring community.

Remember, “The KERRISDALE Playbook”  is a meeting place that is always open to all of you!

Enjoy and let us know how we can make it better!
