Well its that time of year. We are at the end of sumer. And since many of you are in education you may already be back in the classroom or soon will be.
There's been a lot of news about schools adopting iPads and I'm excited to hear benefits and approaches in use. A couple of iCardSort users have even created their own tutorials and training materials and I could not be more excited.
Jessica Pack, a 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher in Palm Springs Unified School District, has created a couple of interesting videos of how they are exploring the whole area.
Another educator, Lisa Johnson, describes how to use iCardSort in a jeopardy-like vocabulary lesson. You can get more info in her article at www.techchef4u.com
and the sample deck is available at http://www.e-string.com/icardsort-decks
(visit it on your iPad and the decks will open in iCardSort).
iPads and iCardSort are very new to schools and it is intriguing to hear about how they are being used. This area if filled with possibilities and I'm super excited when I hear more of how people are using iCardSort. If you have a story or information to share or even an example deck. Please let me know.
Thanks for your support.
