Aloha Hump Day,

      This image shows the treacherous "zig zag trail" carved into the wall of Waipio Valley. Kevin Costner chose this beach to end his mega movie Water World. The movie employed many Big Islanders, from Jet Ski stuntman to dancers. It is a very special place.

     If this photograph looks a bit old, brown in places and lacking that saturated  “Digital Look”. That’s because it’s from a 25 year old print that hasn’t been jacked up in Photoshop.
