Aloha Hump Day,
This Hump Day photo comes to you from the Labor Day Rodeo at Parker Ranch in Waimea this past weekend. I think this image has an old Lucky Strike cigarette ad look to it, like the ones in "Look & Life" magazines of the past.
When it comes to sheer guts and courage in sport, you would be hard pressed to find an equal. With ONE hand tied down to a 2,000 pound MAD bull, they wait for all hell to break loose while trying to hold on; it is like being next to a train wreck.
What these bull riders do is a mind bender to me, shooting them up close from the inside rail is as thrilling as I'll ever need.
