Wellington's Indie Fashion and Jewellery Market
We're super duper excited about our Indie Fashion and Jewellery Market this Saturday. With lots of extra stalls booked, we will be almost double our normal size and we've got some lovely treats in store for you, including pop-up stalls by some top-notch Wellington designers:
Plus lots of our regular arty and crafty types. We'll be open 10am-4pm as always, so there's plenty of time to come down and check out what's happening. It's going to be a great day for all, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Back At The Market
Helen Underwood is back after a lovely holiday with more fabulous jewellery and shiny goodness, so make sure you stop by for a look! Her stunning array of necklaces look so good on, you won't be able to resist.
You may have noticed a couple of familiar faces at the market recently - Mayor Kerry Prendergast and Deputy Mayor Ian McKinnon stopped by to say hello.

her stall Lavender Boutique
Their support has been invaluable in getting our market established and keeping us going over the winter months. We really value that Kerry and Ian share our vision of becoming a top tourist destination in Wellington and an iconic Wellington weekly event for locals. We wish them both the best of luck in the upcoming WCC elections.
One of our friendliest stallholders has to be Bella, who exemplifies what our market is all about. Bella works hard during the week to restock her colourful stall with what she makes best: organic apple cider vinegar, juices and knitted hats. A strange mix? The stranger the better as far as we are concerned! Eclectic treasure trove where you're never sure what you'll fi Andfdg ;lkrt
That's just what we want for our shoppers, an eclectic treasure trove where you're never sure what you're going to find at the next stall.
There are plenty of parks available just across the road
on Willeston St, and it's only $4 for a day. That should leave
enough time for shopping, surely? (No. There's never enough time for shopping. That's why you'll just have to come back next week!)
That's all from us this week. Remember we're happening every Saturday rain or shine, so stop by to say hello, listen to some of our live music, and come have a look at what the creative people of Wellington have to offer!
