I Praise You Lord:
- Brent Swensen has accepted the role as our Food Service Director and our team could not be more excited. Brent and his family embody the kind of care that help our campers feel loved and not just fed in our dining hall. This is an answer to prayer! Pray for them as they move their family from Illinois to Lake Ann to begin working on June 5.
- Funds continue to come in for the A.R.C. While the project is over 95% funded, the remaining balance still amounts to about $300,000.
- Entre-Prises, the industry leader for the highest quality climbing walls, is on site assembling our indoor climbing wall. It will be ready for the A.R.C. Grand Opening Celebration on September 1-2.
- The Lord provided a great new staff. This year there were many challenges to assemble the team that is larger than our previous seasons but we found great people and we are excited about the coming summer.
- Summer attendance continues to be up from the past year. That fires us up to see life change!
- Rob Wallace, a commanding Marine officer with three active tours of duty in Afghanistan will be one of our Reborne Ranger speakers this summer. This will be another Reborne graduate who will be passing the torch to the next generation.
- Traverse Magazine once again recognized Lake Ann Camp as the Best Kids Camp! This is three years in a row that we one of the top camps amongst all the camps in Northern Michigan.

I Pray For:
- Jake Walton as he leads our summer program directors for each of our five programs. Pray that he has wisdom for the many decisions that need to be made each day to keep the programs running smoothly.
- Our ropes course plan fell through and we are working with a new company to have the ropes course built in the A.R.C. Pray that the details will be accomplished so that it will be ready in the fall.
- Continue to pray for the workers on the A.R.C. that they will be safe and that it will be completed by the inspection date August 1.
- An appeal letter was sent recently asking people to help us end the A.R.C. project with no long-term debt. It is our prayer that it will not only be built debt free but that additional funds will be given that can be applied to the long-term property debt.
- Pray for Ken Riley as he leads staff training June 3-18. Those are long but foundational days for the summer ministry to move forward appropriately.
- Pray for safety throughout the summer. When of our staff and volunteers arrive, we will have a team of over 160 people on site.
- As you pray, continue to pray that we will have full weeks of campers in attendance. We are so grateful to see again this year!
- We still need more retired volunteers to help meet needs this summer. It is very helpful if they have an RV they can stay in as our on-campus housing is full.
- Pray for Ron Bouvier, who serves as our archery instructor and cleaning crew supervisor, who has had several health challenges lately.
