I Praise You, Lord:
- We are in our 70th year of ministry on the Lake Ann property! That is something to praise the Lord for as He has faithfully sustained the camp over the years.
- The summer Program Directors have all been hired and we have a great crew who are already preparing for a fantastic summer.
- The A.R.C. project is moving forward daily and nearly ¾ of the $883,886 needed to fund the furnishings and finishings has been given already. God’s people have been very generous toward this momentous project.
- We started the year with 922 campers registered for summer camp which is up 37% over last year at this time.
- Freeze Out retreats have begun, first in North Carolina and now at Lake Ann. We praise God for the privilege to challenge young people to grow in the Lord all year long.
- The L.I.F.T. Interns and Dave Lamb are going to Cuba this April to help start a camp. This will be the eleventh country in which Lake Ann Camp has started or is supporting a camp around the world.
- Years ago we helped a camp in South Africa. In January we learned that Henry Bro, a native of South Africa, has taken what he learned from us and is now a camp director of a thriving camp started by the Scripture Union. It is so rewarding to see the long term fruit of that labor.
- Serena Snead has joined our L.I.F.T. Intern team! Serena served as a counselor with us during Summer 2017 and has just finished her studies at Cedarville University. Serena brings a lot to our team and we’re excited to have her serving with us throughout 2018.

I Pray For:
- Safety as the camp staff travel on icy roads to recruit staff and visit churches.
- The funding of the A.R.C. facility so this project can be debt free when it opens in September.
- Wisdom as we select our summer staff. We want solid role models who are already actively serving the Lord to be here to impact our campers for Christ.
- The A.R.C. workers as they will be roofing in the winter time and fighting the elements.
- The L.I.F.T. team as they raise funds for their missions trip to Cuba in April.
- Volunteer Ron Bouvier, who has spent many days in the hospital fighting an infection that just won’t go away.
- The Camp Captains in our churches who work tirelessly to recruit summer campers. Pray for them as they help parents understand the value of a camp experience in the spiritual growth of their students.
- Continue to pray for Phil Bolthouse and his team as they are doing many projects to support the A.R.C. This includes processing the rough sawn boards into interior siding and wall coverings similar to what we have in the Dining Hall and Welcome Center.
- Darrel Kirby and Joe Deitzer as they serve thousands of meals this winter to our campers and guests.
