I Praise You Lord:
- December is a month where our staff celebrates the privilege of serving the Lord together in this ministry. We have a great team and we’re blessed to share in this great work together.
- December is also the ramp up to our 70th year of ministry in 2018. God has been faithful and over 375,000 campers have heard the life-giving message of the Gospel here at Lake Ann Camp in our 69 years of existence.
- The A.R.C. is moving forward! The foundations and poured walls are nearly complete and the framing process will begin soon.
- An Annotations magazine is on its way and an appeal letter will follow a few days later. We’re praising God for the 30,000 households that have had some part in our ministry in recent years.
- Joe Deitzer (Kitchen Manager) and Victoria Van Tiem (Red Canoe) got engaged in November. We’re very excited for them as they begin their journey towards life together.
- Tara Leigh Cobble has committed to speak at both Ladies Retreat in the Fall of 2018. She was well received in 2017 and we’re thrilled to have her coming back!
- The Boingeanus are now on the field in Romania. Cristian served as a counselor and Junior Program Director at Lake Ann Camp. They join the Postemas and Andersons forming a camp team as they seek to develop the property the Lord provided.
- Ken Rudolph reported that English camp in Germany was very fruitful with many getting saved. That is a miracle in that culture and we’re so thankful to have been a part of the process. We love that several of our former summer staff and current staff make it a priority to be a part of this camp every fall.
- Our team is working on a brand new website for the camp. It will be mobile friendly and offer features we don’t currently have available. The new site will give our campers and guests a better preview of what to expect when they come to the camp.

I Pray For:
- Our Early Early Bird discount is coming to an end December 31st. We already have 738 campers signed up for Summer Camp 2018. Pray that all our beds will be full!
- Appeal letters have been sent out to churches and individuals recently. It’s essential that we have strong support to finish the ARC facility on budget. Funding is over 90% and the 5:1 matching gift is still in place making ever $1 a $5 step forward. Pray for a generous response.
- Jake Walton as he makes his final choices for our summer Program Director. These are key people who deeply impact the experiences campers have.
- The board will be on site December 8th for a board meeting as they approve the 2018 budget. Pray for wisdom as choices are made.
- Ken and Margy Riley as they will be in Colorado Springs from December 3-7, for the Christian Camping and Conference Association (CCCA) national conference. At the conference we will receive the review of the surveys our summer staff filled out which will help us serve our campers better in the future.
