In this interview subtitled "Relationships can overcome all the barriers of the world," we sit down with Dr. Hakim to discuss nonviolence, relationships, and community.
Hakim, a physician by training, decided to leave his practice in Singapore over ten years ago to provide humanitarian and social assistance to those most affected by the war in Afghanistan. He now serves as a mentor to the Afghan Peace Volunteers, a group of multi-ethnic Afghans dedicated to building nonviolent alternatives to war.
