Wednesday Evening Performance to Share Messages of Hope
Paul McComas and Maya Kuper have collaborated on performances for seven years. This holiday season they developed a performance entitled “Heralds of Hope in Story and Song” which they will perform on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Marquette University Alumni Memorial Union Ballrooms.
For most, the holidays are a time of great joy and family. However, it can also be a difficult time for some. Paul explained that, “Because we put so much stock in the holidays as a time to be joyful and merry, it’s especially hard if you are trying to find hope.” Both describe this performance as being a source of hope and a way to reach out to those who are experiencing hard times.
The performance will include readings from literary excerpts from various authors, mixed in with live music, including Maya's original “Let’s Give Love (This Christmas)”.
