Vietnamese-Australians make up the largest ethnic group in Cabramatta.  If you're interested in finding out more about the people, I highly recommend Destination Saigon: Adventures in Vietnam by Walter Mason, published by Allen & Unwin.

Vietnamese Desserts  I find the takeaway sweets at the counter of Asian grocery shops irresistible; they're bright, colourful and incredibly interesting. I'm starting a series of reviews here.

Bayon Cambodian A newish restaurant in Cabramatta and it's certainly the newest Cambodian in town. Facing Cabramatta Road it can be a little out of the way. Read noodlies review.

Iron Chef Australia Channel 7 has snapped up the rights to produce a local version of Iron Chef, a series which SBS has made famous. more.
