What would it feel like to really Prosper?

As we head into spring and all that comes with the changing of the seasons - from spring cleaning to flowers blossoming - this is a question I've been pondering as it comes to money, meaning and life.

Reflecting back over the year so far, the things I remember most, hands down, are experiences...
  • Playing on the floor with my brand new baby nephew (5 months) & his older brother (age 4) and sister (age 2)
  • Ice skating for the first time in 30 (!!) years at a beautiful outdoor Pavilion
  • Dancing around in my living room on a rainy Portland day to exercise videos
... and not expensive ones at that!

When you think about what it means to "Prosper" or live a "Rich Life," what comes to mind?  Is it money, people, love, experiences, joy?

For me it is all of the above.  I've come to think about money as being like "Financial Spanx" - a delightful, quiet undergarment that can make the entire rest of your life flow oh so smoothly. Not because you are so focused on it - but precisely because you are not.

As you are watching the trees and flowers in your neighborhood start to come out of hibernation, this is a great time of the year to ask: what makes YOU bloom and come to life?

And then, as per the drawing below from Carl Richards, to ask yourself what actions steps you need to take to go from idea to reality (and bypass regret!).
