John Weiley Retrospective - An Explorer in Film

Screenworks founder John Weiley has had an extraordinary career in the film industry.  He will be sharing tales of his experiences in conversation with Kerry O'Brien as part of the Byron Bay Writers Festival.  

This exclusive event includes a selection of clips from Weiley's work, from the early 1960's to the present, curated by Screenworks Chair, Lois Randall. Audiences will be treated to classic cinema moments including performances from young Weiley with Germaine Greer in 1960s student films, Bryan Brown in the 1970's Third Person Plural, the Opera House in the long suppressed Autopsy on a Dream (made in 1968 and recently screened on ABC TV) and much more...
