From the Parents Program

Greetings! As we enter into the fourth week of spring semester classes, we find students busy with their first round of exams and starting to prepare for midterms. Many students are making plans for spring break (March 21-25), applying for campus leadership positions for next year or beginning their job search for life after Georgia Tech. We, too, are in planning mode for spring semester with welcoming our newest Yellow Jackets this spring and summer and saying farewell to our seniors and their families at Commencement on May 7.

We also have started planning for Family Weekend 2016  which will occur on September 30 - October 2, 2016. We hope you can join us next fall for a fun weekend of activities, including family fun night, educational workshops, a football game against The University of Miami and more!

Our motto in the Parents Program is “when parents are informed, students benefit,” so we encourage you to contact the Parents Program at 404-385-1396 or email us at parents@gatech.edu with any questions.

Happy Reading!

Laci Weeden
Director, Parents Program
