Anyone – regardless of religion or sexuality – can be a part of this group, which focuses on LGBTQIQ themes as seen through a Jewish lens. Teen-led, fun and inclusive, The Q has its own programs, trips and events. There's been a great student response to the Q, and the program was also honored with an award for Jewish impact from the JCC Association of North America.

Our next meeting is....
Saturday March 5th, 2016
Jewish Community Center of San Francisco
3200 California St.

The Q is a peer-led group based at the JCCSF and supported by the Teen Outreach Coordinator. If interested, please contact: Randi Reed (, 415.292.1104) or Eva Kranefuss
What is CRuSTY?
CRuSTY Katan (1st-5th Grade)

CRuSTY Katan is the name for our Elementary school Youth Group. We provide social programs that help to build relationships between peers and foster Jewish identity. These youth group experiences give our kids the opportunity to continue to build their cohort of friends as they journey through life towards b'nai mitvah and beyond.

CRuSTY Jr. (6th-8th Grade)
CRuSTY Jr. (or the CRuSTY Nuggets) is the name of Congregation Rodef Sholom's Junior Youth Group. We aim to provide our members with engaging and memorable activities that build Jewish identity, and life long relationships.
CRuSTY (9th-12th Grade)
CRuSTY is the name of Congregation Rodef Sholom's youth group. Our goal is to keep Jewish teens engaged in Judaism, and build a strong community among our members. Throughout the year, CRuSTY provides leadership training, volunteer opportunities, and most importantly, kids make the best friends of their lives and have fun doing it.

All high school students who are members of Rodef Sholom are automatically members of CRuSTY, our youth group. Contact Ryan with your questions or to find out about the latest CRuSTY events on Facebook, check out CRuSTY at Rodef Sholom.
