Software is eating the world, and its preferred place to chow down is the big, fat middle. The average. The good enough. The not-bad-but-whatever. Mmmmmm. Tastes like chicken.
Of course, we know this already. But we like to kid ourselves that the world hasnâ€™t really changed. Until itâ€™s too late. Until software is already picking its teeth with our bones. Or something.
Itâ€™s an amazing world we live in, however â€œstepping upâ€ is the new price of admission. No more middle-class autopilot. Those days are gone.
