This latest tech blog kerfuffle was TOO GOOD for me not to draw a cartoon about it.

The story was in The New York Times: Yahoo’s new CEO, Marissa Mayer has told her employees that they will no longer be allowed to telecommute.

Something about needing to create a stronger, more cohesive culture etc.

The reaction from the Internet has been pretty predictable, and we put a different spin on it. Let's face it working from home can be a mixed blessing :-/

That said, the having to relocate from a cheaper part of the country to those insane Silicon property prices, does make me wince. Ouch. Suddenly having to sell the house, change the kids’ schools, get the spouse to change jobs as well. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

Then again, culture matters, so from where we sit, it looks like a good call. That's why it’s so interesting for to watch...
